Bridging the Gap currently manages three of KCMO's recycling centers.
COVID-19 Update (3/25/20): All three Kansas City, MO Community Recycling Centers are currently open regular hours. We ask that you please adhere to the safety standards set forth by the CDC, like staying home if anyone in your household is sick, social distancing, and hand sanitation to help protect other patrons, volunteers, and staff. Thank you for recycling responsibly!

ATTENTION! The Metro North Community Recycling Center (Highway 169 & Barry Road) has permanently closed making way for commercial redevelopment in the immediate area. The City of Kansas City opened a temporary drop-off recycling center opening in Pleasant Valley Park, 6401 NE Pleasant Valley Rd. (updated 3/18/20).

Are you passionate about using less resources, and you know that "Recycle" is the third "R"? Volunteer with us! Volunteers assist the recycling center site manager with various duties, such as breaking down cardboard, assisting patrons, etc. Also, a few times a year, we need volunteers to help with special e-waste and shred events.
