Bridging the Gap currently manages two of KCMO's recycling centers.

1) Deramus – 4707 Deramus Ave. KCMO 64127

2) South – 5200 E. Red Bridge Rd., KCMO 64137

 

During our most recent fiscal year, 90,136 patrons visited our recycling centers! Great work Kansas City! Click on the map to the right to view the location and directions to each of our centers.

Wednesday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

ATTENTION! The Metro North Community Recycling Center (Highway 169 & Barry Road) has permanently closed making way for commercial redevelopment in the immediate area. The City of Kansas City is working on relocation plans for a new site in the Northland.  In the interim, please consider using the recycling drop off center located at 4707 Deramus Ave. (updated 10/23/18)

Join us in creating an environmentally sustainable world.

Are you passionate about using less resources, and you know that "Recycle" is the third "R"? Volunteer with us! Volunteers assist the recycling center site manager with various duties, such as breaking down cardboard, assisting patrons, etc. Also, a few times a year, we need volunteers to help with special e-waste and shred events.

1,600 people volunteer with BTG each year. Be part of the movement!
