Mattress Recycling Operations Program Associate

Join our expanding team as Bridging The Gap launches a mattress recycling program! This position supports the daily operations of the mattress recycling center by dismantling mattresses, operating equipment, maintaining facility standards, and ensuring all materials meet recycling compliance requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to maintain a safe, efficient, and well‑organized work environment. Deadline to apply is May 20, 2026.

Recycling Center Fill-In Associate

If you like to work outside and help the public, this position might be for you! The Recycling Center Fill-in Associate will be the primary contact at Kansas City Community Recycling Centers when other site staff are not available, leading the public in recycling procedures, managing, training, and preparing volunteers, providing educational and informational resources to the recycling community , and keeping contamination of the drop-off containers below 2%.
