Kansas City WildLands Program Manager

Kansas City WildLands (KCWL) conserves, protects, and restores the remnant natural communities of Kansas City’s original landscape by engaging community members and partner organizations in land and water stewardship. The KCWL Program Manager leads outreach and collaboration across government, corporate, academic, and non-profit sectors to preserve these vital sites. Additionally, the Program Manager drives program growth by cultivating volunteer teams, advancing public education on remnant ecosystems, and guiding land managers in best conservation practices for public lands.

Mattress Recycling Operations Program Associate

The Program Associate supports the daily operations of the mattress recycling center by dismantling mattresses, operating equipment, maintaining facility standards, and ensuring all materials meet recycling compliance requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to maintain a safe, efficient, and well‑organized work environment.

Recycling Center Fill-In Associate

If you like to work outside and help the public, this position might be for you! The Recycling Center Fill-in Associate will be the primary contact at Kansas City Community Recycling Centers when other site staff are not available, leading the public in recycling procedures, managing, training, and preparing volunteers, providing educational and informational resources to the recycling community , and keeping contamination of the drop-off containers below 2%.
