Monarch Butterfly Tagging

Join Kansas City WildLands and KCMO Parks and Recreation as we catch, tag, and release monarch butterflies in Jerry Smith Park. This event will include an introduction to this unique remnant space, its history, and how it supports monarch butterfly populations. This event is appropriate for adults and students elementary age and older. Participants under the age of 16 must have a registered parent or guardian present for the entire event. Training and equipment will be provided! Register now.
