KCWL Biodiversity Symposium

September 5 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

This free symposium provides an opportunity to gather as partners and like-minded individuals to spend time learning about Kansas City’s most biodiverse natural spaces and hear about regional ecosystem success stories and challenges. Attendees will hear from conservation professionals from Kansas and Missouri about ecosystem assessment and monitoring, species life histories, changing population dynamics, and evolving approaches to restoration. There will be an optional field visit to Kill Creek Park’s remnant tallgrass prairie after presentations are completed. Kansas City WildLands is a program of Bridging The Gap.
