Spend time in Kansas City’s waterways and learn about our local native ecosystems — what a great way to get outside! Have a splashing time getting to know critters that hang around the bottom of streams. Together, we’ll dive into what makes a healthy and clean stream. This work helps to engage, preserve and restore the health and biodiversity of our public lands across the metro. Through this activity we will be collecting data that will help show the impact of restoration work in the area on the water quality of nearby streams.
