KANSAS CITY WILDLANDS

Seed Team

WildLands’ Seed Team volunteers help identify, collect, and process seeds from the wild land sites. These seeds are high-value, significant forbs that are then replanted on public lands.

ABOUT THE SEED TEAM

Kansas City WildLands Seed Teamers play an integral role in the restoration of the region’s most diverse ecosystems. Native plant seed collected from Kansas City WildLands sites is processed by trained volunteers before being redistributed to area public land managers for redistribution.
