Our volunteers and donors make the world go round! In this last fiscal year:
✅ Volunteers gave 8,011 hours of their time
✅ 2,745 volunteer shifts were filled
✅ $781,446 donated through individuals and corporate partners
✅ 314 individuals donated at least once to support BTG’s work

Laura is one of our longest serving Kansas City WildLands volunteers. She is one of the best plant identifiers in the metro and has a wealth of experience as a leader for our native seed team. A huge thanks to Laura and all of our other volunteers who make what we do possible!

Don't forget, our recycling centers are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday this Thursday and Friday!

You never know where we might show up with trees!

You never know where we might show up with trees! Last month our HTA crew gave out candy and free trees at a local trunk or treat.

Our latest annual report is out! 📣
See how we’re committed to increasing and restoring our
region’s vegetation:

✅ 1,177 trees planted in communities where they are most needed
✅ 2,110 trees given away for planting on private property
✅ 839 volunteers spent 2,139 hours restoring KC’s wildlands
✅ 46 Tree Keepers trained
✅ 291 youth educated on the benefits of trees
