Turkey Creek Litter Cleanup, Merriam

Great opportunity for a small group! Go green with us on St. Patty’s Day by helping pick up litter near Turkey Creek! Do you know where litter goes? Litter in streets and parking lots flow into storm drains, which then empty into local creeks and rivers. In other words, if it’s on the ground, it’s in our water!
Help us clean up litter near Chatlain Park, at Turkey Creek in Merriam, Kansas. We’ll remove litter near the bank, and volunteers who wear water-proof boots will have opportunities to remove litter from shallow water in the creek bed. We will provide all supplies.
Min age: 11, with parent. 16 and older may volunteer alone.
All volunteers must register in advance by completing online registration. Click on registration button below for more details and to register. Immediately after registering, each individual will receive an auto-email confirmation with more details.
