Street Tree Planting in North Waldo Neighborhood

Near 75th Street and Main, Kansas City, MO

 

Volunteer with Heartland Tree Alliance to plant street trees in the Waldo North neighborhood, located east of Brookside, near 75th Street and Main, in Kansas City, Missouri!  These trees will shade the street and sidewalk, provide stormwater retention and pollutant filtration from the air and water. They will also provide numerous economic value to the neighborhood increasing property values, reducing crime rates and even slowing traffic.

 

No prior tree planting experience is necessary. Tools and equipment will be provided. Min age: 14, with adult supervision.
