Pleasant Valley Recycling Center
This outdoor volunteer opportunity is great for students wanting service-learning credit, retired folks looking to stay active, and passionate recyclers! Volunteers assist the recycling center site manager with various duties, such as breaking down cardboard, assisting patrons, etc.
The Pleasant Valley Recycling Center is located at 6401 N.E. Pleasant Valley Road, Kansas City, MO 64119 in Pleasant Valley Park.
All volunteers must register in advance at the link below. Recommended shifts are Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM or 1:00 – 5:00 PM. Minimum age: 8 years with parent/guardian. Volunteer alone at 14 years.
