Saturday, 4/8, two shifts to choose from

Are you the ‘recycling guru’ in your office, classroom, or dormroom?  We need you!  Come help your community and the environment at the Metro North Recycling Center Saturday, April 8!  (And even if you are not the recycling guru, we will train you).  Morning (9:00 – 1:00 pm) or afternoon (1:00 – 5:00 pm) shifts available.

This outdoor volunteer opportunity is a great way for students to obtain service learning hours and help their community! Since this is an ongoing opportunity (Wednesday – Saturday), if April 8 doesn’t work for you, we may have another date available.

This outdoor volunteer opportunity is great for students who need to complete service learning hours this semester. Volunteers assist the recycling center site manager with various duties, such as breaking down cardboard, assisting patrons, etc.

Metro North Community Recycling Center is located north of the river. We have a special need for Saturday volunteers. All volunteers must register in advance.
