Volunteer: Ecological Restoration Workday

May 5, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Saturday, May 5, 9:00 AM – Noon

Garlic Mustard Removal

Rocky Point Glades

Swope Park, Kansas City, MO

Join our Kansas City WildLands program for this important Seek-and-Destroy mission! We’ll spread out and focus on hand-pulling invasive exotic garlic mustard and seedling shrub honeysuckle that threaten the health and biodiversity of this beautiful remnant wild area,  while enjoying the spring beauty of Kansas City’s remnant wild lands. What a great opportunity to walk through the spring woodlands while protecting its health and beauty!

All volunteers must register online in advance (click the REGISTER button below for more info, including min age, and to sign up). Immediately after registering, you will get an auto-email with more info.   Please contact Linda at 816-561-1089, linda@bridgingthegap.org if you have a group so we can ensure there is space for the entire group to participate.

We apologize that we are not able to offer or sign off on court-mandated community service or disciplinary service.
