Volunteer: Corporate Team Building Tree Planting

May 30

Piper Neighborhood Tree Planting

Kansas City, Kansas

May 30, time TBD

Great Opportunity for Corporate Group!

Looking for a fun team-building outdoor experience? Volunteer with our Heartland Tree Alliance program to plant street trees in the Piper neighborhood in Kansas City, Kansas! These trees will shade the street and sidewalk, provide stormwater retention and pollutant filtration from the air and water. They will also provide numerous benefits to the community, including: increasing property values, reducing crime rates and even slowing traffic.

No prior tree planting experience is necessary. Tools and equipment will be provided.

We have space for a small group of about 10 volunteers to volunteer alongside an additional corporate team already scheduled. To sign up, contact Sarah Crowder 816- 561-1086 or email sarah.crowder@bridgingthegap.org

We apologize that we are not able to offer or sign off on court-mandated community service or disciplinary service.

Please note: Clicking the “register for event” button below will open a blank email to Sarah – online registration is not available for this opportunity. To arrange a date/time for your group, please contact Sarah.
