Virtual Panel: Emptier Buildings Eat Energy, Too

July 30, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Thursday, July 30 | 1:00 – 2:00 PM CST
Free for GBN and Kansas City Industrial Council Members | $10 non-members

Join us for a conversation on maximizing energy efficiency improvements within commercial buildings, including special considerations in light of COVID-19.

Many buildings sit vacant or at lower-than-usual capacity while employees continue to work largely from home. During this time, facilities and property managers have an opportunity to implement energy conservation measures to lessen building operating costs while maintaining proper space conditions.

Join with the Kansas City Industrial Council and Bridging The Gap’s Green Business Network as we discuss areas to consider – like the importance of knowing your building’s energy score – and how COVID-19 is affecting future energy management practices.

Moderater: Zac Sweets, Community Business Manager, Evergy

Panelists:
Tom Corso, VP Operations, MC Realty
Eric Kruzan, Senior Business Development, TRC Companies
Lauren Roberts, President/CEO, Cfm Distributors
Chris Hays, Office of Environmental Quality, City of KCMO
