Visit with Bridging The Gap at our outreach table prior to the screening of Before the Flood.  Learn what you can do to protect your local environment by volunteering with us!

In honor of Earth Day, Unity Temple on the Plaza will be hosting a special viewing of the National Geographic film Before the Flood by Leonardo DiCaprio about his incredible three-year journey around the world documenting the devastating impact of climate change. Following the film there will be a panel discussion led by Joe Robinson, environmental activist, underwater filmmaker and photographer, to give suggestions and answer questions about the current state of climate change on a global and local level.

As Leonard Di Carpio states: “All that we witnessed on this journey shows us that our world’s climate is incredibly interconnected and that it is at urgent breaking point…….we wanted to create a film that gave people a sense of urgency – one that made them understand what particular things are going to solve this problem.”

Join with others in our community as we come together to play a role in the future of our world.

The event is free and open to the public.  Registration is not required.
