November 15, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Tree Planting
National World War I Museum and Memorial
Thursday, November 15, 9:00 AM – Noon
Great Opportunity for Veterans!
Volunteer with our Heartland Tree Alliance program to plant trees along the median leading up to the National World War I Museum and Memorial! This opportunity is a terrific way to pay homage to veterans and give back to the community. Join us and plant trees that will shade the street and sidewalk, filter pollution from the air and water, and provide stormwater retention.
No prior tree planting experience is necessary. Tools and equipment will be provided. All volunteers must register in advance by completing online registration. Click on registration button below for more details and to register. Immediately after registering, each individual will receive an auto-email confirmation with more details, including a map to the meeting location.
NOTE: Address listed is for mapping the general vicinity of the workday. After you sign up, you will receive an auto-email with a special link to the meeting location.
If you have a group or questions: contact Sarah Crowder 816- 561-1086 or email sarah.crowder@bridgingthegap.org. Individuals are also welcome to sign up!
We apologize that we are not able to offer or sign off on court-mandated community service or disciplinary service.
