Event: POSTPONED Tour of (World’s Largest) Passive House at 2nd & Delaware
October 19, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Due to multiple reasons, construction on the 2nd and Delaware project has stopped and its completion is delayed. Unfortunately, this means that our tour of this project will be postponed until probably sometime next summer. We are of course disappointed, but we want to schedule the tour when there is more to see and it would be beneficial to our members, particularly the Passive House components.
A joint event of the USGBC Central Plains and the Green Business Network
Tour the soon-to-be world’s largest Passive House certified structure with us on October 19. Arnold Development’s Second and Delaware project, when finished, will be a 276 multifamily unit development located in the River Market area of KCMO. The project will consume 90% less energy than comparable buildings in the area and will offer quality of life comfort through triple glazed windows, a dedicated outdoor air ventilization system for indoor air quality, rooftop gardens, and ample daylight with convenient access to nearby urban amenities.
Staggered tours begin at 4:20 pm and leave every 20 minutes. Additionally, developer Jonathan Arnold will give a presentation on this unique project.
*Hard hats will be required for this tour as most of the project is still under construction. Please email leslie@bridgingthegap.org if you do NOT have a hard hat (we will provide one for you.)
This event is $15 for Green Business Network and USGBC Central Plains members. $20 for non-members. Registration includes drinks (beer & wine) & light snacks
