We’re taking a field trip for this Green Business Network event! Step out of KC for the afternoon and join us in Lawrence, Kansas, for a tour of the Bowersock Mills & Power Company – the only operating hydroelectric power plant in Kansas! Located on the Kaw River in downtown Lawrence, the plant is capable of producing 7 megawatts of environmentally friendly energy. After the tour, we’ll gather at Johnny’s Tavern just north of the river for drinks and appetizers. Cost is free for GBN members; $15 for non-members and includes appetizers.
