Event: Drawdown in KC & The Role of Businesses

Join us for a lunch-and-learn event on local Drawdown efforts to reverse the effects of global warming and a conversation on the important role businesses can play in these efforts.

Mike Kelly, Roeland Park mayor and co-founder of the Metro KC Climate Action Coalition, along with Drew Robinson, Renewables Manager at Evergy, will speak. Their presentation will be followed by a facilitated conversation by Hannes Zacharias, Robert A. Kipp Professor of Practice in Local Government Management and Urban Policy, on ways businesses can engage in these efforts.

Cost: $15 for GBN members; $25 non-members. Registration includes lunch.
