Climate & Cuisine – Virtual Gala – Sept. 24
September 24, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm
| Free
Bridging The Gap’s annual gala is well-known for its innovative themes and permanent impact on people’s behaviors. (Remember last year’s “plastic free marketplace”?) This year, though we’re going virtual, is no exception. On Thursday, Sept. 24, join hundreds of environmental enthusiasts across our region, as we explore how food choices, seriously, strengthen our region’s food supply and help avert climate change. BTG’s program that night will feature influential area farmers and the nationally-known blogger Kathryne Taylor, with inspiring low-impact recipes from “Cookie and Kate”, while highlighting BTG’s work in tree canopy and prairie restoration, recycling, business sustainability, and much more. Best of all, it’s all free — the more, the merrier! We’re not limited by room size or ticket price this year, so please “come”, and pass this along to your friends. If there’s anything the pandemic has underscored, it’s a basic BTG tenet: we’re stronger and better, working together.
