Margo Farnsworth was teaching at a university MBA program in sustainability when she discovered biomimicry – the practice of observing then mimicking nature’s strategies to solve business challenges. After learning the process in the jungles and cloud forests of Costa Rica she returned to teach her students how to apply nature’s strategies in their own work. “But how do we bring biomimicry into our companies?” they asked.
Join us as Margo brings stories from successful companies like Nike, Interface, Inc., Sharklet Technologies, and others – how they are deploying biomimicry and reaping healthy profits while working in partnership with the natural world. You’ll hear how they introduced the tool, emulated natural strategies, conquered challenges and where they are now. Then learn how you too can bring this practice into your workplace.
