Volunteer: Bar K Barks Back KC WildLands Restoration Workday at Hidden Valley Park
March 7 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
Bridging The Gap’s Kansas City WildLands team is excited to partner with Bar K volunteers to help restore the Hidden Valley natural area, one of our city’s little-known treasures for outdoor lovers.
We’ll be cutting and stump treating exotic invasive shrub honeysuckle that threatens the gorgeous, hilly forest of Hidden Valley natural area, opening the forest up for native plants and wildlife to thrive again.
Please note this site may have a 1/2 mile walk (on trail) to get to the work area. Training, tools, gloves and supplies will be provided. Please wear long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes.
