Volunteer! “Long Johns and Loppers” Ecological Restoration

Join our Kansas City WildLands team and layer up for our Long Johns and Loppers Ecological Restoration Workday! Volunteers will cut and treat invasive woody plants from several beautiful, natural communities in the region, helping native flowers and grasses flourish again in these stunning wild areas.

All volunteers must register in advance by completing online registration (links coming soon). Please contact Linda at 816-561-1089, linda@bridgingthegap.org if you have a group so we can ensure there is space for the entire group to participate.

Three locations to choose from, across the metropolitan region:

Jerry Smith Prairie East, located in south Kansas City, MO. Sign up.

Ogg Road Prairie, located in Shawnee Mission Park, KS. Sign up.

Maple Woods, located in the northland in Gladstone, MO. Sign up.
